Healthy Eating : Strawberry Banana Smoothie
This is quite possibly the fastest and easiest recipe on the planet. Although simple, it's packed with flavor and nutrients. You can add on to it with many different ingredients but we love keeping it basic. It's perfect for an afternoon by the pool pick-me-up or a light breakfast (we may even add a dash or two of Tequila for Sunday fun-day).
Strawberry Banana Smoothie - serves 2
1 package of fresh strawberries
2 ripe bananas
1/4 cup of water
Blend ingredients in a blender on low speed until blended. Be careful not to over blend - this smoothie tastes better on the thicker side.
Optional ingredients to add:
Fruits, nuts, almond milk or juice (to substitute the water).
